Blest Destiny Midst Empowered Will
Believing God’s deeds, perfectly precious
I’ll follow Him with empowered free will
His assigned task, triumphantly, fulfill
Since His sovereign works well, indeed gracious.
Cognizant of the Lord’s best for my life
I trust His wisdom, yielding to His might
Illumined by Scriptures’ vision-delight
Praying for prudence against fleshly strife.
With Christ as the chief captain of my heart
Upholding faith for service-diligence
Strengthening when attacked by impatience
I’m assured of peace, right from journey’s start.
Geared by the Almighty toward great end*
My expected future glows with triumph rays
Of fruitful years midst productive work days
While for His granted mission I ascend.
Praising the Saviour, my Master and Guide
Thankful for sufficing my every need
I’ll trek ministry-trip since He does lead
Joyously while in His presence, abide
Awed midst unfolding miracles for me
I’m safely settled in my Father’s hand
So secured as He’s eternally planned
Thus, I say, “Blest destiny is in Thee.”
*Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
