Blessings On Earth
I count blessings as I gaze up on stars
Watch the dawn arrive in a pink aqua tint
Hear a rooster crow me his morning memoirs
Each day offers a different fingerprint
Swirls of overlapping richness
Joys to discover, fresh as peppermint
Lessons to learn in all their vividness
My connections on earth a treasured lifeline
Abundance given in complete simpleness
With all these gifts that are mine
I see the earth and heaven intertwine
