Blandishments
BLANDISHMENTS
blandishments passed by
i was blind…my friend produced
ketchup, mustard, & mayonnaise packs.
so close, i should’ve been bitten…
perhaps the fries
were a distraction; i ordered
onion rings.
the turkey burger turned
into a “cheeseburger, please.”
however those blandishments
forsaken i was taken
by the wise guys
on the way out, i see
an entire section:
deep-sea-green pickles,
christmas-red tomatoes,
crispy lettuce and onions.
O the burger possibilities!
i paid too much for the taste
of a cheese-turkey blandburger
and no-onion fries.
