Blameless

There are those who
are doomed
to be ruled
by the moon's pull
while stars clash;
who are double crossed
by Venus and Mars.
Those who bleed
are those who need
but never learn.

And there are
those who burn
those who love
only in hell.
Old tragedies
played out in pain
betrayed, denied
denied again.
Those who are
blameless
take the blame.
