Blame

Blame it on the train.
Blame it on the rain.
Blame it on your mate,
Who made you late.

Blame it on your car,
That didn't make it very far.
Blame it on your dad,
So you don't look so bad.

Why do we blame,
And not clear our name?
Blaming others for our mistake,
Will give us a break.

Blame the dog for what you didn't do,
But the teacher may not believe you.
How do you change your way,
And take responsibility for your mistakes today?

If you clear your mind,
You will surely find,
That taking responsibility
Will increase your reliability.
