Blackened Ocean Waters

Blackened ocean waters At the setting of the sun Golden sand decorates the beach A beacon for all to come Dangerous black towering rocks Jut out from the shore As the darken clouds reflect The golden sun along even more The mighty waves touched Shore, with the symphony of sound Waves then come courting the shore In their wispy bridal gown Waves kiss the mighty rocks Slowly wear them down Softened with eons of time Going slowly soft and round

Hi, Sara, thank you for your reminder on facebook! I do like this poem very and I could see with closed eyes the rocks and the waterfront. I lived at Antofagasta in the 1960ies (close by the Pacific) and also on Efate, Vanuatu, surrounded by the ocean....Gert
