A very warm piece of writing , I love the combination of apple and blackberry perhaps in a pie , have you ever tried an English summer pudding?

I don't believe there are any finer blackberries than the ones found growing wild in Washington State. Good poem and congratulations on winning with this entry.

Let's go out and get some of those yummy black berries. Can you smell the pie baking in the oven? I sure can after reading your poem. God richly bless you my friend.

oh Bob, how this takes me back to my youth, a jamjar strung around my neck and a bucket to keep topping up, blackberry crumble is still the one and only dessert I ever eat, thanks so much for this Bob...Dave

Yes, when I was a child I used to pick wild blackberries! I loved them so much as they were so very good! Your write describes my memories to a T as it wasn't my Mom that dealt with them, it was my grandmother...ah how I loved her homemade food! I really enjoyed your poem! Great Work!!

Yes, Bob, where have all the Blackberries gone? I haven't picked any since a child either. They used to grow wild, but I don't see them any more.....sad isn't it! Lovely Childhood Memory. God bless, Maureen
