Black Star Destiny
Ahead a black mass of space
Ahead only, no going back
Ahead moving into a slow solemn future.
Behind leaving the beautiful past
Ahead is now our forever
Family, friends and memory
Play on our trained sanity
No where to go but deeper
into the black mass foreboding
Engines are dead and dead is forever.
Floating alone now we enter our last era.
Nothing to stop us on radar
Lost forever, no communication, no help.....never to return, never to be too far.
We will soon turn on each other
See the dark side of our humanity.
Time will now become our enemy.
Even together we're as alone as alone can be.
Drifting into a nothing but our insanity.
We will soon lose our dignity, lose humanity.
No chance of hope, why talk when listening makes anger kick in.
Lost in dead space, dead in lost space. Whichever way you say it we know we won't win.
Black star awaits.
That is our fate.
There is no escape.
