Black Raven

A black raven
Perched on the branch
Of a dead tree,
His dark haunted eyes
Glaring down at me.

Black, dead, dark, haunted, glaring....all together contribute to the eerie, mysterious imagery which this poem projects, WA. // Best regards // paul

I had a brief chill when I read this, I don't know if it was the poem or the dropping temps but it made the experience.
