Black Friday

Bargains galore! Lots of people out shopping All looking for that special gift Carrier bags bulging Keep an eye on the spending Frazzled tempers Riots break out I got the LAST one Don’t ever want to go shopping again All I want is to go home Yipee ... only 365 days till we do it all over again!!! Very good topic to write about, Jan. Some are crazy enough to camp out all night!! Sensible people should keep well away from this kind of madness. Even donkeys are wary of carrots! as always...a 7. hugs // paul

Well done by someone who has never been in the madness. I won't go out to shop in the USA for that day. We have enough bargains the rest of the year. Thankfully Canada is not as focused as the USA. Loved the subject and the poem. Hugs and more hugs Edith

I dread to think James and we should ask ourselves why do people behave like this fighting like small children over a bargain TV - and is it really necessary

I'm just watching the news James its shameful the way people acted - just to get old stock heavily discounted - such a sad world we live in - doesn't say much for society. I'd never heard of it until 3 days ago - we don't have it on the Isle of Man! :-)Hugs jan xx

We don't have huge shopping malls on the little island i live on and Black Friday can stay well aware from here if seeing the riots on the news is anything to go by! Hugs jan xx

Me too I hate Friday nights, its dark out, everybody is out because it's the weekend but I think that is why they call it black Friday because it gets so dark out at night. Right Jan! Right!

Black Friday..We dont have that on the isle.They do have it in Usa.Guess in Uk No?I was wondering if there ll be sales already from next week though? Im looking forward for some shopping whilst there : ).

Demetrios last Christmas my gift was for my husband to get through his cancer surgery - we spent £10 on each other and will do the same this year - I never heard of Black Friday until a couple of days ago lol - material things mean nothing - it is family and friends that are the real gifts in our lives - the older I get the more I appreciate that!hugs Jan xx
