Black Cat Night
It's a black cat Halloween night. Meow!
Sleek and lurking in the moonlight. Wow!
And they turn an inquisitive yellow eye,
When the little ghosts and goblins go by.
Ebony night, pitch black and gleaming,
Monsters visit on a night that's dreaming,
And everywhere black cats, as if on cue,
As devils and witches make a hullabaloo!
Black cat yowling, blood-curdlingly loud,
So titillating the appreciative crowd.
Silken darkness in the starlight glimmer,
And suddenly another moonlight skimmer!
