BLACK AND WHITE

A lonely young girl,
dreams each night for a doggy.
A new furry friend to hold tight,
a new friend to play with.
Someone to love,
someone to care for.
One day her dream came true,
he was prancing across her backyard.
Her loving new friend before her eyes,
all dressed in black and white.
She named him Wheatie,
was this Dalmatian sent from heaven above?
