Black and White
No human is black
No human is white
God is the artist
His palette is light
The rays of the sun
Show skin as pale tan
To darkest mahogany
Arrayed as a fan
Of red tints and yellows
Of browns in all shades
The plight of the human
Is anger and rage
Blindness to beauty
Painted by God
And blaming ill fate
On outward facade
Ignoring Gods gifts
Is man’s greatest sin
A human’s true beauty
Reflects from within
