Black (Depression)

And that was darkness Where I have been Where I have just come from, Thoughts only in shades of gray with no light at the end of them, Always smiled though when smiled at, That's the nature of it, well hidden My secret black, And that was darkness Where I have been Where I have just come from, Almost emotionless, but for the waves of pain That crashed like silent mountains, Always smiled though, when smiled at, That's the nature of it, no tears, Tears are more colorful than black, When spoken to I answered back.
