Bittersweet

I guess time is really bittersweet.
Sadly, our time together is complete.
Both people and their memories leave gradually.
And we all have to experience it individually.
However, it is what helps us recognise our priorities.
But I still wish people could come with guarantees.

I guess mysteries are really bittersweet.
All of those questions will just repeat.
Aren't we too self-absorbed to think that we're the only ones in the universe?
Who knows whether this is a blessing or a curse?
What will happen when we die?
Am I the only one stuck with all these "whys"?

I guess our whole life is really bittersweet.
There's just no way to cheat.
It is beautiful yet cruel.
We humans evolve, but are still fools.

Is Houdini still trying to figure that out? If life was not a mystery, who would live it? Aloha!

Excellent read! We grow old often before we learn. You are the only one in the universe, how God sees your importance to Him. Each and every one of us.
