Bitter Abusive Love

How can I bear your critical tongue?
How can I tolerate your devastating dialect?
How shall I handle your shattering mockery?
How might I keep breathing while you remain cold!!!
Quite cold! Colder than a storm of ice!
Oh how brutal oh how severe!
 How careless… 
YOU! Have become just another ordinary lover!
Just another arrogant man dictated by his own egoism
Where’s that magnificent love of yours!?
Where is that glorious passion that you have always praised!!!!??
Where are you? Where are you oh sweet darling, is it really you?
Are you the man I have always adored? Are you the deer I have always embraced?
You are a wonderful lover, yet you reveal a hideous side beyond your graciousness 
How can I tolerate such destructive ache…? 
I wish some day you taste your own bitterness…

I didn't like it... there-- I said it. You did a crappy job. As an artist you failed miserably. You took a moment of great power and energy, wrote something down, and that was it... or so it looks like. You didn't cut your subject up enough. You just crucified him like Jesus on the cross and left him to die there when you could have been like Hannibal and eaten him. I think maybe you rushed your poem. It's powerful, but I think it needs to be tempered a bit. Of course who am I!? Art is subjective. But here are some poems maybe you should take a look at before you do anything else. Vivo, this brings to light a very deep and painful topic. Making one to feel unloved through criticism and harsh words is abuse that scars. Powerful write, sweety! :)

wow! this is the way I feel about a few people around me.. one day I hope they taste what the weep... My x- was a man who was born in a bitter pan... than man treated me so badly behind close doors... i'm enjoying life now, so much for love... xox~ LINDA

Hot, cold...spoken, unspoken. Worthless, priceless. These should never be questions when it comes to love. It should be absolute. It's real or it's not. This was a very powerful piece. Quite thought provoking...
