Bites
Now, driving madly, not even having a time for a peaceful lunch, the girl was eating in the car, gobbling the food, without being able to enjoy the bites, she was too late, yet the food was strangely delicious ; she bought it from her favorite bakery. This time, she was unusually hungry and avid ; to her mind, no one could even resist a blink with that ultimate bite, such a decisive moment, a turning point in her life. As she was lost in the delicacies of the food and the pleasures of the taste, she opened her eyes, just to find herself under fate’s mercy. She pushed hard on the brakes, it was too late to stop the marathon, the car crashed into the one in front. ‘ The man must be mad now, he will certainly yell at me,’ she thought to herself. To much of her surprise, the guy was smiling, so cool and calm as ice. He laid a hand for a shake, asking kindly whether she was fine. It was like a date, the invisible hand of destiny seems to have played its magic. Suddenly, the affection trail cut out as the intruders interrupted the two hard- wired birds with some irrelevant remarks, bringing them back down to earth after a happy trip to the moon. Soon later, they parted. She was soothing her nerves; already missing him. Now, his car disappeared in the traffic, while her heart is still booming…
