Birthed Day

Shed your earthly body of flesh
Float upon the decadent darkness
Let the past fall away like scales
That you may be free to the beyond
Open opaque door to the unknown
Find courage in the fact you’re not alone
Did you know the universe sings
Humming as you are lifted up delivering
You to another mother in a distant galaxy
Be not afraid of your wildest dreams
You chose this journey long ago
Before you were human before you had hopes
