Birthday Surprise Party

Happy Birthday Surprise

Happy Birthday banner displayed
Party is set and ready to go
Waiting for the birthday boy to show
Party hats, presents, are ready and so
Is the cake with candles to blow
Beer is brewing to the side
Guests take their places and hide
As lights are turned off
Key is inserted rotating the knob
Door creaks open with a delay
Silhouette of two embracing figures in play
Lights are turned on and everyone jumps
Shouting, “Happy Birthday!”
Snapping jokes, igniting puns
Lover’s embarrassment wanting to run
Honored all his friends were there
Birthday boy’s stowaway his dreams for another day

It's always so much fun trying to think of new and creative ways to surprise your nieces and nephews on their birthday! Course when they get older, they get harder and harder to fool.
