Birthday Party Gone

People-shaped mists Lapping, overlapping, floating. Silent laughter, boxes and candles mingling; Ribbons winding, curling bows; The spirit man-designed year of our Lord; Suddenly ending, suddenly beginning. Love, lingering like a warm winter cape In the afterglow of tomorrow, Fading, drifting, gently, transformed into A memory, lapping, overlapping, floating away, Gone.

Yes we travel towards and beyond our memories. This caused me to contemplate my memories and the ones I will eventually make.
