Birth Giver

I'm in over my head,
I wish I were dead.
You say I'm pathetic,
A pathetic excuse for a mom.
You continue to push me away,
Farther everyday.

I'm sorry for the way I lied,
And for all the times I made you cry.
Beat me with a metal chain,
Let me take away a your pain.

I read what you say about me,
The names you call me.
The way you hate and despise me.
How you refer to me as your birth giver.
Not mom, not Brenda ....
Birth giver.

I am nothing to you,
But you are my everything.
I wish I could just disappear,
Far into the atmosphere.
