Sara, this is a very lovely poem and it looks good on the page. I like that the owl greets the "hidden sun."

Yes, it was right at sunrise, Moon H. Of course, we have hunters that now own land all around us so it could have been a hunter doing owl sounds or using some kind of equipment that sounds like owls because there is some animal that will come when they hear an owl call, so they say. Sara K

Early morning and its sounds are beautifully described here. Somehow owls often create a sense of fear in me, may be because l have heard that they are birds of ill omen.

Valsa, for some cultures they have different meanings. Some believe that it could mean a spiritual awakening, some feel it means wisdom, intuition and transformation. Some see it as a harbinger of death or misfortune. Of course, God is our only source of love, protection and guidance. Thank you for the visit and nice review of my work. Sara K
