Birch Tree In Early Spring
Birch Tree in Early Spring
Every breath of wind
stirs the branches,
each
with a drop of
yesterday’s rain,
frozen in the moment,
sparkling now in the sun,
like a thousand diamonds,
and I,
I am dazzled.
