Billy the Kid

Billy the Kid
paid a price for what he did.
He was shot in the back by that skunk Pat Garrett,
a betrayal not entirely without merit.

Billy the Kid. Another over-hyped schnook, even if no one asked me.

You got a good point there, Gershon! Why celebrate a two-bit no count trigger happy fool! There's a good song, though, "Me and Billy the Kid Never Got Along" - my favorite version is by Ramblin Jack Elliott. You might be able to relate to it.

A great historical poem. Is the West tamed yet?

Thanks, Hilda! I think so. Nowadays, even the coyotes return their shopping carts to their designated areas. If that comment sounds weird, see my poem Leisure World Shopping.
