I can read this as suggested by the title and I can also read this as a transition to a solidarity resolution; one of the bilateral switches that I enjoy about this piece. I like the way this reads and presents as a more classic koan rhythm and dipolar pattern by omitting the word "a" in the first line--wondering if that also fits how you feel about meaning and resonance.
