Big Pain - Small Gain
for you, I was all out of action
I'm not used to all this mind
numbing distraction
for me, you used to bring a natural attraction
you hit ground zero,
where is your inner saviour,
your inner hero
you traded your strength, for a synthetic
shot
I left that day, while I still
had my mind in tact
randomly pick a yesterday, with
you thats how far you've fallen
your friends, had noticed you've
become unstable...this your reality
I want no part
this artificial climb, bury's who are,
you can change your name,
you'll snuff out, your natural spark
this refusal, is deliberate and defiant,
your child has lost the best part of you
in her life,
you spat out, your used to be,
somewhere up the road,
...I could go back and help you try
to find it, share the burden...
share the load
but your frightened...in your used to be
what you'll truly find
the smell of sound competing for
survival,
you'll move on attract another,
they too will become your rival
for you, you're not looking for a
good friend,
just someone to entertain you,
for your misery to contend...
