Big Apple

You walk fast
New York,
Heavy stampede
Steps
The concrete ground
You stand.
I married you
In April,
Costly
Earsplitting
Streets
Awaken me.
Global breath
Aromas
Vibrant
Sparkling eyes
Vanished evermore.
I’m back,
We have matured.
