Bid Christmas Goodbye

There’ll be no pretty package under my tree
Because that is not what’s important to me
For there is little I may want or desire
These are the gifts I wish to acquire…

For peace in our hearts, and calmness of mind
An end to the wars, for all of mankind
The world is a package, let’s grab a bow
And wrap it up tight, we can make it so.

When we stand together, get the job done
Hope can once again reign for everyone
Feed the poor and hungry, each girl and boy
A world that is healed, and now full of joy!

Now that the world is wrapped up nice and neat
I’ll bid Christmas goodbye, my wish now complete!
