Bible Dodoitsu

Seven years Jacob worked hard
for the love of sweet Rachel.
Tricked by his Uncle Laban
He married Leah.

Leah truly loved Jacob
but she must now step away.
It was but a rehearsal.
Rachel is his bride.

That is a ambiguous 'Biblical" story..A true love story but there is Leah the unloved..Sad isn't it..Enjoyed reading this one..Reads like a winner to me..Good luck..Thanks for letting me know that I placed in the contest..Sara

this is one of my favorite stories in the Bible, you did a great job of doing this story justice.

Oh, the deception strikes hard here, Joyce. I haven't even seen Dr. Ram's new contest, but I love the way you describe Jacob's marriage to Rachel as a "rehearsal." Excellent writing, dear, and I'm sending winning wishes your way! Love, Carolyn
