Beyond Words

Can you grasp the need I have
One that overtakes me each day
Yet you remain just out of reach
Allowing only fingertips to touch
When I want to feel you pressed 
tightly against me in passion
Teasing my being so gently
Provoking ecstasy beyond words
My soul cries out to yours
My essence utters inarticulate 
sounds calling out to yours
Needing, in urgent want
the anticipation overpowering 
Leaving me shakened beyond words
