Beyond the Void

Every so often
I enter a place
Where nothing exists
There's no time or space

I live in the shadows
I drift with the wind
Everything ends
Where adventures begin

A cosmos of pleasure
Iniquitys den
I soar through a future
That poses no end

I float on the clouds
I swim in the sea
I ride on emotions
Proclaiming, "It's me!!"

Look what I'm doing
Look where I've been
Can all of my joys
Be measured by sin

I'm just a soul
Adrift on a plane
Exploring a life
From real to insane
