~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
At the edge of a still wood,
Glistening with dew,
Soundless sighs from the autumn,
Oaks, dark and defiant,
Strong as the night,
Who breathes starry musings
Over the gentlest whisper of wonder…
Reflections of grace, softly smiling
On the intimate pages
Of a forest, amazed by the twilight
Who captures the feathery
Dreams, trembling trees,
Imagined and written into poetry
Blessed by the heart’s promises,
Healing, hoping, heavenly…
Hands of light, fading
Into shadows where the mysteries,
Unfolding, unknowing, untold
Stories of joy,
Kindled by wood’s reveries,
Silent and still, the blessings
Keep flowing, knowing
beyond the darkest moments,
As the forest follows a moon’s soft glowing
Timidity slowing on the edge of the woods, blowing,
A silence growing, showing
Beyond the still woods,
A soul’s hope, praising the amazing – God is sowing
Seeds of endless grace in this place.
