Beyond the Sea

The same memory haunts me Over and over you take me to A place where I do not want to Be. I hear the sound waves against the shore. I feel , no I know I’ve been There before. There in a place I do not know, There in a place where my mind continues to go . If only I could see it clear, Yet I only have the sounds it never does appear. Like a mist it hides from me. Always calling out inviting me. The answers so many questions Are behind that mist, The answer to what has happened to my life and what I’ve missed. Friends and family are no longer here , What is wanted of me is still unclear. Dare I cross beyond that mist, Dare I venture and see what in life I’ve missed, The sounds of the sea once Again call out to me This time I will I make my way Through the mist and see my Destiny
