Freed* from addiction’s chains and imprisoning misery… Rescued from bondage of liability as a disgraced social deviant Especially upheld by the Saviour with His transforming compassion-might!!! Empowered now to prevail with faith over haunting rehab-rigors! great poem all around. I suffered from addiction and have been sober almost ten years and am only 38 years old so I understand. I really enjoyed your poem but placed you lower because even though it flowed like a free verse to me it was more acrostic. nonetheless really enjoyed it...thank you for your entry and congratulations on your placement :)-luloo
