Beyond a Broken Heart
Is there a key to unlock your heart to love?
what binds that emotion not to open that door
do the rapids of fear rush before that decision steps in
has trust wrapped those chains that bind you
Has pain dismantled your choice to desire love
does it make you not want to cross the bridge of uncertainty
Are the curtains drawn to retain the darkness of comfort
will you cover the wound so that you may heal
either way, hurt has pain and pain does hurt
one can lose the will to ax the loss and regenerate
It’s a big step to step out again and feel a sense of certainity
but there is another day for you…. beyond a broken heart
