Beyond a Blue Moon

I’ll be here for you, you
Wherever you stand
I’ll be there with you too
Beneath the sand
Beneath the sand at the beach
I beseech your voice,
But it’s so far out of reach...reach...
No room to rejoice...

Soon, we’ll find our way out of this home...
This home of chaos and seek somewhere else to roam

Once in a blue moon
I’ll see you soon
Once in a blue moon
I’ll see you soon
Maybe by the afternoon
You bloom like a flower in the fields of faithfulness
You blossom like a cloud, showering me with happiness

What are you doing, you doing...
With a fool like me? Like me?
Aren’t you suppose to be brewing
Tranquility for an eternity?
Tranquility is where we land
Won’t you just listen and understand?
I beseech your heart, your lovely heart,
Breaking apart with mine from the start

Soon, we’ll find our way out of this home...
This home of chaos and seek somewhere else to roam

Once in a blue moon
I’ll see you soon
Once in a blue moon
I’ll see you soon
Maybe by the afternoon
You bloom like a flower in the fields of faithfulness
You blossom like a cloud, showering me with happiness

Glad you aren’t in my shoes
Glad you don’t hear my muse
Sick of hearing your sad, mad news
Is there something left to choose?
Can you get rid of the rue and the blues?
You haven’t given me any clues, clues
Baby, maybe by the afternoon,
We’ll see each other again soon
Once in a blue moon...
Blue moon, blue moon
Once in a blue moon...
Blue moon, blue moon

Soon, we’ll find our way out of this home...
This home of chaos and seek somewhere else to roam

Once in a blue moon
I’ll see you soon
Once in a blue moon
I’ll see you soon
Maybe by the afternoon
You bloom like a flower in the fields of faithfulness
You blossom like a cloud, showering me with happiness

Once in a blue moon...
I’ll see you soon...
I’m sorry I acted like a buffoon
Got me fooled by your loving so true
Got me feeling these feelings too, too

Wherever you stand,
I’ll be there for you
I’m here for you, understand?
Just hold my hand, hand, hand
Been through this love flu
For God knows how long, boo

Once in a blue moon...
I’ll see you soon...
No lie, cannot deny
Once in a blue moon...
I’ll see you soon...
Don’t say goodbye

Sick of living this lie
Such a failure I feel inside...nowhere left to hide...
I’m going to let this fly
And open up my young heart to you so wide

Soon, we’ll find our way to bloom
And there, we’ll stay in our room...
A sunshining haven of no gloom
Not even a blue moon, so forlorn,
Can take us to the tomb...
We are reborn like a newborn
In a mother’s womb
So don’t assume otherwise —
The worst will not come beyond our demise
