Beware the Doghouse

Valentine's Day is just four months away
Are you ready to show her some love
For that beautiful someone sharing your life
An affair that fits like a glove!

You mustn't forget or ignore this occasion
Most romantic time of the year
To ladies, it's the supreme test of your love
Mess up... it's the doghouse I fear!

You'll feel her wrath for a long time to come
Like winter in the month of May
The calendar will say that spring has arrived
But the frost won't soon go away!

Just a reminder to order those flowers
It's never too early to plan
Or buy her chocolates, that's always good
You'll wind up being DE MAN!

If you mess up, don't come crying to me
I warned you in plenty of time
No, go somewhere else, you can't live here
You've committed the ultimate crime!

"You'll feel her wrath for a long time to come Like winter in the month of May" That's quite an ordeal! You sound like you speak from experience ;) Hehe, love it! Always, Laura

How can men be so sweet and change on a dime? Is loving a man too much a crime? A woman expects to live in her prince castle up on a beautiful hill Not sent to the dog house foreclosure and live through the mill. You have and interesting poem I can relate but I don't know or understand this fate. Thanks for a poem. It is a wonder how we women are a crime.

You know men never seem to get it LOL..listen to us ALL YEAR LONG, when we say we'd like [x] put it on your list and hey hide it [say with your ties..since most men don't wear them anymore and she's not in charge of cleaning them] get her 1 thing from the list of things you should have which she has mentioned in passing..say 5 months ago! And she'll think OMG he listens to me!!! and love you forever! Light & Love [the present IS the concept that YOU actually LISTEN to her!]
