Beware Halloween

T’is on this eve when witches fly
The monsters walk and give you chase
The ghosts, they chant their mournful cry
So grab your candy and make haste

You shall not wish to be outdoors
Falling victim to the ghouls
For they are out there by the score
So run on home, be not a fool

The candy should not keep you late
Beware which house you choose to go
Be quick I say, don’t hesitate
For they want you, oh don’t you know

T’is not the candy in your sack
That makes them chase you like they do
But for your blood they’re at your back
And if you’re slow, they will get you
