Between Tick and Tock
I am here
then gone
there
somewhere
nowhere
in a split second
a short duration of time
that seems beyond time
like the duration of time it takes
a bouncing ball
at the very very top of the bounce
to start descent
no more tricks or treats for me
no more ticks or tocks
but me
caught floating
for one very very long duration of time
between tick and tock
