Between the Bitter

Just Moments between the bitter
Every foot of the mountain I climb
On the ledge the snake does slither
Nibbling litlle bits of my mind

Each day I grow closer
To the place I don't want to find
For what am I just a little older
And nothing really changes in the passing time

For everything that is taken
Just leaves an even bigger hole
And whats left is forsaken
Because in dead soil nothing will ever grow

As for winter with it's sun turning cold
Warmth only comes from the dragons fire
Which burns up the story never told
Lost in the smoke of the unforgiven Liar....
