Between Love and Mistrust

Between the world and my mind, You clearly sit in between territories. Nothing to tug but your memory of the past. For I am only but a broken piece of non-belief. Between my heart and my soul I have tucked you in best of both worlds For my life has become a candid miracle of you Enough of this uncanny melody of a doubt. I will trust you. Between the past and the present We co-existed like the chivalry of the sun and moon My eyes only sparkle for you But these doubts are yielding, I can’t. Between life and death This limbo that I live in sucks me right back to you. I don’t want to move, nor am I ready to trust again. But as long as you wear my life’s meaning These thoughts, I will lock them in a den.
