Between Love and Fear

I'm here, it's now
Your eyes are pulling me in somehow
My heart tells me yes, but everything else tells me no
In your arms and I don't want you to let go
The fear of falling is all but kind
My heart is crippled
My mind is blind
I would be foolish to think that I could make you mine
Exposure to the past elements
Only remains would be to build upon
Your captivating creative ways
Made it possible to seal a bond
But my mind won't let me believe that this will go on to long
I'm dying inside to reach out
But I can't reach past the doubt
Help me to get closer in your way
I won't leave if you promise to stay
