Between a Rock and a Hard Place

Between a rock and a hard place
I sigh
I cry

Between a rock and a hard place
unable to speak
growing weak

Between a rock and a hard place
Unable to move
stuck in this groove

Between a rock and a hard place
I am still here
you are still near

Between a rock and a hard place
just where you left me
wondering why
parched and dry
you watch
as I die

Between a rock and a hard place

Your word choice is good and the message sent is strong and emotional, highlighting the futility of existing in a nightmare and calling it a dream. Emile.

That's a tough place to be in, Eileen, but you are not one to give up easily, and I am sure that you will come out of it stronger than ever before. As always, you write with strong feeling. Hugs // paul

Always.....always good to read your posts, coach. I've realized....some relationships are beyond repair. Doesn't make the pain go away...We just learn to medicate. Hugs

This makes me sad. It sounds personal but I hope I am wrong. I wish you with all my heart the happiness and the bliss you so deserve. Always, armand.

Hello dear.....the frustration rose from knowing that no matter what I say.....it won't make a difference. No....you weren't wrong, Armand. We live and learn.

This is sad, but the Warrior Princess will ground the rock into dust!

I can definitely relate to this piece. It's so sad to read, because I can feel the despair, the sorrow, and the pain. You express yourself very well, even with fewer words. "Unable to move stuck in this groove" - I know the feeling all too well. Always, Laura

Thanks, Darby...sometimes....in such situations...words are futile. Thanks for the visit.
