Better Things

Bad times make us appreciate the good
You may notice things you would not before
Accomplish things you didn’t think you could

Rough times may lead to a new open door
Gratitude will suddenly come with ease
You may notice things you would not before

All the simple things will easily please
Acts of care and kindness will shine to you
Gratitude will suddenly come with ease

What may have been usual, will be new
Bringing better things from difficult days
Acts of care and kindness will shine to you

You may soon notice others special ways
Out of the darkness you will find the light
Bringing better things from difficult days

You may see things that were once out of sight
Bad times make us appreciate the good
Out of the darkness you will find the light
