Better Than That
So you can't find your words-
Like a diplomat
We all know sunshine
You're better than that.
So you can't seem to function
As others do
Everyones different-
You know this is true.
So your having a bad day
Nothing seems right
Regardless of this-
Let there be light.
It sneaks up and gets you
and tears you in two
We'll put you together
You know- we love you.
Not always a sharp but
Sometimes a flat
Just for the record
You're better than that.
