Better Days
Though the better part of life may now be gone
Does not mean the future has to be much less
For quality's not measured by "How long"
But only by what you consider "Best"
All the things you did not do because of time
A commodity too wasted trapped in thought
Can be realized before the great decline
That impedes the will from doing as it wants
For as long as you are fit to move about
There's still time to catch that dream you cast aside
And the single greatest enemy is doubt
Which is easily destroyed by what created it
Your mind
So tonight in bed don't merely say a prayer for better days
Fix the idea in your head and prepare for better days
