"better Days"
I wonder if its raining where you are..
And if the clouds are the same shape as my heart..
Do you dream in colors of brightness..
Do you sleep like a baby tonight.
Do you toss and turn to the sounds the city night
Or do you rest all day to sounds of birds outside your window..
I picture you in the park today, on a bench with nowhere to go..
The sunlight highlights those eyes for only me to see...
I wonder if Im on your mind today
And If the thoughts are sweet as my way..
We carry our crosses and we hope for a better day..
