Better Days
As 2020 is left behind
Bring 2021 into the light
Faith and love are combined
Creating hope so very bright
Miracles are here to abide
Gentle feelings race to arrange
Thoughts of love and grace applied
To the heart who needs a change
Whispers of joy inspire the soul
With loving thoughts that bestow
Heaven’s guidance to heal and console
Breathing insight that is all aglow
Colors of crimson and azure love
Brighten hearts with the new dawn
Sent from the heavens up above
To those who know renewal over yon
Graceful music caresses the heart
With purity and peace that eases
There is assurance we need a new start
To leave behind the past with it’s diseases
There is promise that leaving the past
Will bring strength in the ones who live
Life as if it’s a gift from God so steadfast
A welcoming kindness that we can’t contrive
As 2020 is left in the past today
And 2021 brings us into the present
Know God will never lead us astray
With His love we should be content
Happy New Year
Today and always
May it bring cheer
And many better days!
