Betrayed By a Friend

Betrayed by a Friend

Remember me
I was your friend
Till one day
That sure did end
My bodies still numb
I won't pretend
A friends betrayal
Stopped me dead in my tracks
Now, I fear
There's no looking back
Good friends don't come along
Just any old day
Best friends are rare
Like a needle found in hay
As I shake my head
I'm in disbelief
The pains are so deep
My sanity just won't keep
So I must go
To meet my new best friend
Infinite Grief
Got a shoulder to lend

Good, sad but I truly understand.
