Betrayed Bethroned

You said that you loved me More than anyone and that I was your one true love but when I asked you to take out the trash you said that you were late coming home and that I would need to do it by myself You said that you loved me More than all the red roses that money could buy and that no one would come before me but when I asked you to hang the Christmas tree you said that you were late getting off from work and that I would need to hang the tree alone You said that you would make love to me Better than the God Adonis himself but when I was in the mood you said that your mother needed you to take out her trash and that I was on my own in that department So you said... You said... You said... and so you said But what you forget to say was that you were around the block from our home With another man
